The conflict between Maribel Guardia and Imelda Tuñón continues, with the ex-partner of Julián Figueroa claiming that she has been unable to see her son José Julián for two weeks. Tuñón accuses the authorities of Mexico City of colluding in the alleged 'forced disappearance' of the minor.
According to the theater actress, Maribel Guardia informed that Tuñón is not in a position to take care of the child, mainly due to alleged addiction problems. However, Imelda posted a message stating that she obtained a suspension of amparo against the Attorney General's Office of CDMX and the DIF, whom she accuses of colluding to carry out the 'forced disappearance' of her son.
In a statement shared on her Instagram account, Imelda Tuñón mentioned that a judge granted her a measure to prevent Maribel Guardia from gaining custody of the minor, expressing relief after weeks of anguish and sadness for not being able to see her son. The presenter accused the institutions of colluding with Guardia to impede her contact with her child.
Imelda also sent a message to Julián Figueroa's mother asking her not to take her son away from her. Since January 21, Maribel Guardia has reported Imelda Tuñón for domestic violence related to mistreatment in raising the child. After the initial investigations, the Attorney General's Office decided that Maribel Guardia will retain custody for another 90 days while the investigation continues.
Imelda Tuñón underwent toxicology tests following Maribel Guardia's accusations of alleged addictions, and published the results indicating that she is free of substances. Despite this, their child remains under the custody of Maribel Guardia and has not been returned to her mother.
